Chobits is the newest anime/manga from
the popular artist group "Clamp". The plot centers around Hideki,
a rounin (one who has failed to pass the college entrance exam) and a
powerful persocon (a humanoid robot), Chii, who has her own destiny.
Chobits features 26 episodes of anime (20 minutes each) and 6 volumes of
manga (about 100 pages each)- presenting a gripping tale of love, loss, and
mystery. Goldenrody categorizes it as another fanservice anime that attempts to be different and deep, but in the end is still just like all the other ones out there. I guess there's some humor in it, too.
