Squall Leonhart

The 17-year teenager and student of Balamb, Squall is essentially FF7's Cloud, without the schizophrenia but just as whiny.  He's definitely the most useful character in this game, as his limit breaks will be the primary method of dealing damage to bosses in the end, and are essential for defeating the optional powerhouse bosses, Ultima and Omega Weapon.

Weapons

Limit Breaks
Renzokuken-This is Squall's only limitbreak.  However, the damage, type, and the amount of power of it increases over time depending on the weapon you have equipped.

Rough Divide-Squall dashes to the enemy, and slices vertically upward.

Fated Circle-Squall leaps into the air, and creates a wave of energy that deals damage to all enemies.

Blasting Zone-Squall points his Gunblade into the air, and aims a huge beam of energy at all enemies.

Lionheart-Squall's Gunblade charges up, and he dashes toward the opponent, and in a very cool scene, throws the opponent into the skies, slashes him 15 times in the air, and hurls him back toward the ground, dealing monstrous damage(in the 100,000-250,000 range, if you junctioned enough ultimas to his str).  This is probably the most important attack he has in the end of the game, as it will be your primary way of defeating bosses.
