Final Fantasy IX

Zidane Tribal

Zidane is the 16-year-old protagonist of Final Fantasy IX.  He has a tail, and the reason for that is resolved in the middle of the game.  Zidane is the classic ladies' man that we all know and love, and he falls for Princess Garnet almost immediately when they first meet.  Zidane is also a thief, belonging in the Tantalus gang, along with the boss Baku, and the other members, Cinna, Blank, Marcus, Zenero, Benero, and Ruby.  He has some really great and humorous lines, which is a great departure than the angsty protagonists of the previous two games.

Command Abilities
Steal-Zidane runs up to the enemy and attempts to pilfer their items.  You can increase your chances of a successful steal by equipping Bandit and Master Thief.  You can also do damage with Steal by equipping Mug.
Skill-Zidane has a few skills he can learn from weapons.   The two most special are Flee and Detect.  Flee lets you run away from a battle, and Detect lets you see what items an enemy is carrying.

Abilities
Flee-Flee allows Zidane to run away from every battle, at a cost of a small amount of gil.  Doesn't work against bosses.
Detect-Detect allows Zidane to see all of the items that an enemy is carrying.
Soul Blade-Brings out the hidden status effects in Thief Swords.
What's That!?-Increases the chance of a pre-emptive attack.
Annoy-Inflicts enemy with ST: Trouble.
Sacrifice-Zidane kills himself, and his HP and MP are distributed throughout your party members.
Lucky Seven-Does damage according to Zidane's luck stats.
Thievery-Does damage to enemy depending on the amount of items you've stolen.

Trance
When Zidane Trances, he loses the Skill command and gets the Dyne command.  With Dyne, Zidane can use his MP to unleash incredibly powerful attacks on his enemies.  His attack power is also increased by 50%.

Victory Dances
1.If you equip Zidane with any dagger, he will leap up into the air, doing a little flip on the way, and land with one hand holding a dagger up and another holding one down.
2.If you equip Zidane with any swallow, he will spin it around his head(much like Cloud), and bring it to the ground.
