Another innocent girl, Mitsumi is considered the middle girl between Keitaro and Naru.

Mitsumi has a problem of always fainting for no particular reason, outlined mainly in episodes 8-14. The significance of her fainting prevents outrageous things from occurring, such as a kiss between Naru and Keitaro. Of course, this coincidence is intentional to stir up the inherent comedy.

Friends with all the Hinata residents, she was from episode 21-25 considered the girl of Keitaro’s dreams. Though the plot may suggest so, the romance between Keitaro and Naru wouldn’t allow Mitsumi to be the girl in Keitaro’s dreams or else Keitaro would have broken a promise and thus making the relationship between Keitaro and Naru a little more passive.
