Naru Narusegawa

Seiyuu (Voice Actor): Horie Yui Birthdate: March 25, 1981 Age: 17 Height: 163 cm Blood Type: A Usual Attire: Yellow sweatshirt with red skirt, and when in school-- Huge Yolei style nerdy glasses. Personality: Hyper at most times, likes to conceal her emotions, strong-headed, active, very talented singer (so is her seiyuu!) Hobbies: Studying, cleaning her room kicking Keitaro's ass. Quote: If I were to even smile at you, your studies would come to a halt.

Strong willed, beautiful, physically strong, and happy-go-lucky at times, Naru is the main female of the group of Hinata Girls. She plans to get into Tokyo University with Keitaro, and has much affection for him, though she tries to be passive about it. Often she would blush and deny her love for him when speaking to Kitsune, and often punches Keitaro to show the crowd she doesn’t care about him. Naru's seiyuu, Yui Horie's singing talents are proliferated throughout the episodes, especially in episode 11, where Naru is an idol singer. In that episode you get to hear 2-3 of Naru/Yui Horie's beautiful songs, as well as another one with Shinobu and Motoko.

Of course, deep inside, she is just punishing him for his bad behavior, so in the future he wouldn’t be a bad and perverted husband. She, unlike Keitaro, can control her emotions. She is aware that she attracts many guys but decides not to get carried away too easily. In the Christmas Special- Naru decides to be mean to Keitaro and stay away from him so he can concentrate on his studies and get into Tokyo U with her. Of course, Keitaro being simple minded loses all hope when she does that and starts believing she hates him or something. But actually she loves and cares for him; she was being mean to him for his own good. The sweetness of her personality is revealed at the end of the Christmas Special—a must see.
